Spring has sprung, the grass has riz, I wonder where the flowers is!

Happy first day of spring!

This morning I found out that one of Christian's classes had been canceled so I decided to just take my Kindle and wait on that side of town for him. After I dropped him off, I realized that I hadn't eaten breakfast (oops!) so I ran to Walmart and then sat in one of the parking lots, eating my Walmart breakfast and reading. While I was at Walmart, I picked up the stuff to make my own powdered laundry soap, so stay tuned for that post.

When we got home, we made lunch and then got to work cleaning. I ended up not scrubbing the carpets but I did get some pet odor sprinkle on crap and vacuuming them four times. The weather cooperated and was actually cool enough that we could turn the a/c off and open the windows to air the house out. The house looks and smells amazing. Hopefully it will stay this way for more than a few days. My house didn't smell like dogs before and I made damn sure it doesn't smell like dogs now!

Tonight's dinner was supposed to be a pot roast, but when I got home and went to toss it in to the crockpot, I realized that it was supposed to cook on low for 10 hours. Ten hours, people. I ended up pulling the last of the chicken breasts out of the freezer and making fajita salad again. Tomorrow, bright and early, the roast will be in the crockpot.

Like I mentioned above, the weather today was great. The dogs and I ended up spending a lot of time outside. Daisy spent all of the time outside digging in, playing in, sniffing, rolling around in and anything else she could do with the grass. Lulu spent all of her outside time on the sidewalk, avoiding the grass like the plague. It is so funny to me the difference in personalities between the two of them.

I hope your day was great!
